WE HAVE A NEW EMPLOYEE!!
Beginning May 1st, 2006
Raymond Smith was hired into the company.
Ray comes to us from Visteon, Verizon
Wireless, and his own web design and
graphics company Phat Phinger Creations.
Raymond brings to the Darryl E. Smith
Productions, Inc. team a vast technical
knowledge and experience in the areas
of location audio/utility, and PC Networking/
Support. Ray has already been a great
asset to our day to day office activities
as well as our production field operations.

Darryl's
film short, "One Life To Give"
had its West Coast Debut in the Hollywood
Black Film Festival on June 19th,
2006. This marks the second short
film that the HBFF has accepted from
The collaborative efforts of Director
Darryl E. Smith, and Producer/ Writer
Everett Anderson. More dates of additional
film festivals as they develop!

The
Pilot “Hip Hop Grandma”,
created by Dionne Calhoun, and Directed
by Darryl E. Smith, auditions were held
on June 9th, 2006 to a side splitting
success. Some of the liveliest, funniest,
smoothed out, grandma’s the world
has ever seen audition for the first
round. The second round takes place
on July 29th with a little something
special for the Hip Hop Grandma’s.
